S.E.R.V. Niagara

Before veterans in need can fully benefit from therapeutic programs, skills training, or any other service, they have to have their basic human needs of food, clothing and shelter met. The “Basic Human Needs” build a strong foundation of trust upon which other services can lead lead our veteran heroes onto the path of self-sufficiency.

WNY Heroes

Now, more than ever, the need is constant and growing in alarming fashion with so many veterans returning home. While these brave and heroic men & women face many challenges upon their return, their needs will further impact the need for program services within our organization.

Altamont Veterans Housing Program

34-bed program that provides clinical services and transitional housing for veterans who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. The program provides clinical support, case management, basic life skills, counseling, and assistance with access to employment.

Burchfield Penney Arts Center

Dog Tags New York

Help Heal the wounded soldier whose damages are unseen thru therapeutic and meaningful work with animals. With peer support and interaction. And most importantly, with the support of the community and civilians that partake and engage in our program.

The Odyssey Project

Developed by award-winning photojournalist Brendan Bannon in 2019, The Odyssey Project is an ongoing series of intensive, 12-week workshops that help returning combat veterans reintegrate back into civilian life via photography, peer support, and artist/educator mentoring.

Headway of WNY

Our Mission: To ensure that individuals in Western New York with brain injuries, other cognitive issues, and seniors have access to advocacy, resources, and support systems to enable them to live as independently as possible. We seek to educate the broader community about the causes, consequences and means of prevention of brain injury.

Psychological Health Centers of Excellence

Assesses, validates, oversees, and facilitates prevention, resilience, identification, treatment, outreach, rehabilitation, and reintegration programs for psychological health and traumatic brain injury to ensure the Department of Defense meets the needs of the nation’s military communities, warriors, and families.
